In 1971, at age 27, Frances Moore Lappé released Diet for any Small Planet (Ballantine Books, 1991), an enormously influential book about world hunger and our global food system. Since that time, she’s had two children, co-founded three organizations (including Small Planet Institute), written (or coauthored) 16 books (including one about fear written soon after she was identified with cancer of the breast at 59), and traveled around the world.
How has your job transformed since you’re inside your 60s? I’ve more confidence than Used to do in early stages. Initially when i first authored Diet for any Small Planet, I did not determine if the solutions I had been suggesting were realistic now I observe that they work. The more I live, the greater I learn, and also the more I must give.
Just how can everyone find our calling? Follow your curiosity-even when this means going in to the unknown and from a safe and secure path-and search for the solutions for your own most pressing questions.
